Work With Your Specialist
Your approach to managing your epilepsy should be to form a partnership with your
neurologist or epileptologist, just as you do with others at work and in your social
and family relationships. Be an active member of your partnership with your doctor:
ask questions, take your epilepsy medication as prescribed, and continue to learn what you
can do to help yourself. By actively communicating with your doctors, you can play
a more significant role in the control of your epilepsy.
